What we did not read
Travel review and booking sites refused our requests (403 and 429 errors) when we gathered facts for this site. So we have no scores or counts from them, and we will not quote them second-hand from somewhere else.
What the hotel says about itself
The hotel describes Miss Songs Asian Kitchen as multi award-winning, and it describes the Ardo venues next door as chef-hatted. It also lists a sustainability program, covered on our page about the breakwater. These are the hotel's claims, reported as such; we have not checked the awards ourselves.
Reading the reviews yourself
Sort by newest
The building opened in 1986 as the Sheraton Breakwater and was later Jupiters, per Wikipedia. Old reviews may describe a different hotel in the same shell.
Find your room type
A review of a Deluxe Room says little about a Resort Suite. Search the reviews for the category you want.
Check the date against events
A stay during a sold-out show next door will feel busier than a quiet Tuesday. Our what's on page lists the dates we know.
Mind the season
Stinger season runs from November to May. Comments about swimming at the beach depend on the month; see the Strand.
