1. What this site is

Breakwater Stays is an independent guide to The Ville Resort – Casino in Townsville, with a desk that passes room requests to the hotel or a booking partner. It is not the hotel's official website and is not affiliated with The Ville, Ardo or Morris Group.

2. Information, not a promise

We take facts from the sources listed on each page and date them. Hotels change rates, hours and rules without telling us. Before you rely on a detail, check it with the hotel or ask us to. "From" rates are the hotel's published starting points on the date shown, not quotes.

3. Room requests

Sending the form does not create a booking or a contract for accommodation. A booking exists only after you confirm a quote and the hotel or booking partner confirms the reservation to you. That booking is governed by the hotel's or partner's own terms, including payment, card holds and cancellation. We do not take payments.

4. How we are paid

We may receive a commission from the hotel or the booking partner when a request becomes a confirmed stay. We do not charge you. See Follow the money.

5. The casino

Information about the casino is given for adults and only so guests understand the building's rules. Nothing on this site is an offer or invitation to gamble. The casino admits people aged 18 and over.

6. Pictures and words

The pictures on this site are illustrations, not photographs of the hotel. Text and illustrations are ours; you may quote short passages with a link back. Hotel names belong to their owners.

7. Links

We link to the hotel, public bodies and other services so you can check our sources. We are not responsible for their content or their availability.

8. Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on information that the hotel or another source later changed.

Ask our desk for a room at The Ville

A person on our booking desk reads every request, checks the dates and the rate with the hotel's reservations team or a booking partner, and replies by email. We never ask for card details. Sending this form books nothing.

Thanks, your request is with us. We answer by email, usually within one business day, with what is open for those dates and the rate. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged unless you confirm.

We earn a commission only when a request sent here turns into a confirmed stay. The hotel or the booking partner pays it, never you, and we add no fee of our own. Follow the money.
