Miss Songs Asian Kitchen
The hotel's flagship restaurant and, in its own words, multi award-winning. The kitchen starts from traditional Chinese cooking, borrows from across Asia and builds on produce from Townsville and the region. It sits on Level 3, with a private dining room and a balcony over the Coral Sea.
Weekday lunch is walk-in only. Online bookings take groups of one to eleven; for up to twenty people the restaurant sets a banquet menu. Under-18s need a parent or guardian with them. If you are staying in a Resort Suite or an Executive Suite, this is the dinner we would plan the first night around.
Quarterdeck
Also on Level 3, open every day from 11am until late. It runs as a casual alfresco restaurant through the day and turns into a bar at night, and the hotel claims some of the best views of Magnetic Island in town. Walk-ins are common; smaller groups can book, larger ones go through an enquiry. As a function space it takes 10 to 150 people.
The Palm House
The buffet on Level 2, with live cooking stations, a show kitchen and food drawn from all over. Bookings are essential and open up to three months ahead, for one to twenty guests online; it takes groups and private events of up to 240 and has a private dining room. The path to Ardo's restaurants starts near here.

Note what is missing: no Palm House dinner on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. On those nights, plan on Miss Songs or Quarterdeck.
Splash Bar
The swim-up bar in the pool, open 9.30am to 6pm every day. Food and drinks come to the pool deck and the cabanas. Visitors who are not staying can buy a day pass that includes credit to spend at Splash Bar and Quarterdeck. More on the pool itself: pool, spa and gym.
Spin Café and the Sports Bar
Both sit inside the casino and both are 18+. Spin Café serves coffee, cake and light meals until 9pm, or 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The Sports Bar shows live sport on what the hotel calls the Sports Wall, and keeps casino hours. If you are travelling with children, these two are off the list.
Next door at Ardo
Marmor
Elevated Australian food on Ardo's rooftop level.
Terasu
Japanese, on Ardo's ground floor.
Ardo Rooftop
The rooftop bar, alongside Ardo's pool.
The Ville describes these venues as chef-hatted and points guests to the pathway near The Palm House on Level 2. Ardo venues are among those the hotel says are booking-essential at busy times. Our comparison of the two hotels is on The Ville or Ardo?
