What you get for the top rate
A separate sleeping area with its own balcony over the marina and the CBD. An island-view lounge and dining area. A kitchenette, a bar and a powder room for guests. Who it is for
Two people who want the best room in the house, or a couple hosting a small gathering before an event next door. The powder room and dining area are the clue: this suite is built for receiving people as much as for sleeping. The hotel lists it for two adults with one king bed.
About the name
Pelorus is also the name of an island in the Palm group north of Townsville. Breakwater Marina's site places it 800 metres north of Orpheus Island, which is also the name of the casino's private lounge.
