The closed-days calendar

Most trips go wrong in small ways: a gate locked for cleaning, a restaurant dark on the one night you planned. Here is every regular closure we found, sorted by day.

Things that never close

Reception is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Breakwater Marina's fuel wharf is self-serve around the clock. Quarterdeck opens every day at 11am and Miss Songs serves dinner seven nights a week.

A note on checking

We read these hours on 31 October 2026, and the council's pages from 2025 archive copies because the live site would not load for us. Hours change, particularly around Christmas. Use this calendar to plan, then check the venue the day before.

A person on our booking desk reads every request, checks the dates and the rate with the hotel's reservations team or a booking partner, and replies by email. We never ask for card details. Sending this form books nothing.
